Civil Drafter - Urban Transport

About the role

Egis, a global organisation in architecture, consulting, construction engineering, operations and mobility services, is looking for an experienced Civil Drafter to join its Urban Transport team on the Gold Coast. You will provide drafting for road, pavement, cycleway and DDA-compliant infrastructure, from concept design through to construction certification.

Key responsibilities

• Provide drafting for concept design through to construction certification for simple to complex road, pavement, cycleway and DDA-compliant infrastructure.
• Produce detailed civil drawings for small to large scale greenfield and brownfield developments, as well as commercial, industrial and medium density projects.
• Collaborate within project teams of engineers, taking technical advice and direction to resolve technical challenges.

Required profile

• Experience from beginner to expert level, with demonstrated technical exposure to urban transport or civil engineering.
• Diploma or Associate Degree in Civil Construction Design, Engineering Drafting or a related qualification.
• Knowledge of relevant guidelines, Australian Standards and Local Council Planning Schemes.
• Strong organisational and interpersonal skills.

Required skills

• Civil design drafting.
• Proficiency in industry-standard software such as AutoCAD or 12d.
