Civil Designer

About the role

Aurecon is seeking a Civil Designer to join multidisciplinary project teams delivering buildings, civil defence and infrastructure projects across South Australia and nationally. You will work closely with engineers, designers and BIM specialists to produce high‑quality civil design documentation and models.

Key responsibilities

• Prepare civil models, drawings and design documentation using AutoCAD, 12d and/or Civil 3D.
• Support project delivery for buildings, land development and infrastructure, collaborating with structural, mechanical, electrical, hydraulic and architectural disciplines.
• Participate in BIM and model coordination activities and contribute to quality assurance and design review processes.
• Assist with the development and coordination of design solutions through all project phases.

Required profile

• 5+ years of experience in civil drafting, modelling or design within an engineering consultancy, contractor or infrastructure environment.
• Proficiency in AutoCAD, 12d and/or Civil 3D, with a track record of delivering civil design documentation.
• Experience working in multidisciplinary teams and exposure to BIM coordination activities.
• Strong attention to detail, effective communication skills and the ability to obtain an Australian Government Security Clearance.
