Civil Construction Supervisor

About the role

McCosker Contracting is seeking an experienced Civil Construction Supervisor to lead the workforce on a Queensland project. Reporting to the Project Superintendent, you will ensure the delivery of contracted works in line with client programmes while fostering a strong safety and quality culture.

Key responsibilities

• Supervise on‑site civil and concrete works, managing both staff and subcontractors.
• Plan, monitor and adjust daily work schedules to meet project milestones.
• Communicate regularly with site leadership, stakeholders and clients.
• Promote and enforce safety, quality and environmental standards.
• Contribute to progress reporting, claims and safety documentation.

Required profile

• Extensive experience supervising civil construction projects and crews.
• Strong knowledge of the civil construction industry and concrete works.
• Ability to read and interpret construction drawings.
• Current Queensland Open Driver’s Licence and General Construction Induction (white card).
• Qualified in Civil Supervision or equivalent experience.
