Child Care Educator - Maternity Leave Cover

About the role

Little Miracles Terrigal is looking for a passionate and experienced Child Care Educator to cover a maternity leave position. This is a full-time role with an immediate start and an end date of 27 February 2027, with potential for extension. The centre offers training and support in professional and personal development and wellbeing.

Key responsibilities

• Plan and implement engaging, age-appropriate educational programs that foster children's social, emotional, physical and cognitive development
• Provide a safe, caring and stimulating environment that meets the individual needs of each child
• Build positive relationships with children, families and the wider community
• Maintain accurate records and comply with all regulatory requirements
• Take part in team meetings, training and professional development
• Contribute to the overall success and growth of the childcare centre

Required profile

• Certificate III of Early Childhood Education, Diploma in Early Childhood Education or equivalent qualification
• Experience working as an educator in a childcare setting
• Thorough understanding of the National Quality Framework and Early Years Learning Framework
• Current First Aid, CPR, Anaphylaxis and Asthma certificates
• Working with Children Check
• No child safety restrictions, including suspension, supervision or prohibition notices
