Child Care Educator

About the role

Little Miracles is looking for passionate and experienced Child Care Educators to join its community on the Central Coast. The role is permanent and full time, with a salary of $32.47 to $36.76. It suits both Certificate III graduates starting a Diploma traineeship and Diploma-trained educators seeking a new opportunity. The centre offers training and support in professional and personal development and wellbeing.

Key responsibilities

• Plan and implement engaging, age-appropriate educational programs that support children's social, emotional, physical and cognitive development
• Provide a safe, caring and stimulating environment that meets each child's individual needs
• Build positive relationships with children, families and the wider community
• Maintain accurate records and comply with all regulatory requirements
• Take part in team meetings, training and professional development
• Contribute to the success and growth of the childcare centre

Required profile

• Certificate III or Diploma trained educator, or equivalent qualification
• Experience working as an educator in a childcare setting
• Understanding of the National Quality Framework and the Early Years Learning Framework
• Current First Aid, CPR, Anaphylaxis and Asthma certificates
• Working with Children Check
• No child safety restrictions, including suspension, supervision or prohibition notices
