Chef Position at Cibaria Noosa Restaurant

About the role

Join the culinary team at Cibaria Noosa, part of Elysium Noosa Resort, to prepare and present high‑quality dishes for guests and special events. You will work in a fast‑paced, luxury hospitality environment on the Sunshine Coast.

Key responsibilities

• Prepare, season, and cook food according to menu specifications.
• Plan and organise food preparation across service periods to ensure smooth operations.
• Maintain consistency, quality, and presentation of all dishes.
• Ensure compliance with food safety, hygiene, and workplace health and safety standards.
• Store food correctly and manage stock rotation to minimise waste.
• Assist with ordering, receiving, and checking kitchen supplies.
• Support menu execution for functions, conferences, weddings, and special events.

Required profile

• Minimum 2 years of relevant commercial cooking experience or a Certificate III/IV in Commercial Cookery.
• Proven experience performing duties consistent with the occupation of Chef.
• Strong teamwork, communication, and time‑management skills.
• Attention to detail and ability to work efficiently in a fast‑paced commercial kitchen.

Required skills

• Sound knowledge of food safety standards and safe food handling practices.
