Certified Public Accountant & Tax Agent (On-site, Australia)

About the role

TaxCalculator.lk is seeking an on‑site Certified Public Accountant and Tax Agent to provide professional tax and accounting support to a diverse client base. Based in Australia, you will work closely with internal teams to ensure accurate tax calculations and compliance for both individual and business customers.

Key responsibilities

• Prepare and review individual and business tax returns in line with local and international regulations.
• Analyse financial data, prepare financial statements and reconcile accounts.
• Identify tax efficiency opportunities and advise clients on planning strategies.
• Collaborate with internal stakeholders to interpret tax calculation outputs and improve tools.
• Stay up‑to‑date with regulatory changes and respond to client inquiries.

Required profile

• CPA qualification or equivalent professional certification with active registration.
• Proven experience in tax advisory or public practice, handling diverse client portfolios.
• Strong accounting and finance knowledge, with attention to detail and analytical thinking.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills, able to explain complex tax concepts clearly.
• Eligibility to work on‑site in Australia and ability to manage multiple deadlines while maintaining confidentiality.
