Centre Director (Early Childhood Education)

About the role

Nido Sunshine West is looking for an Executive Service Manager (Centre Director) to lead its early childhood centre. The role sets the vision, mentors educators and builds strong relationships with families and the community so that children receive the best start in life.

Key responsibilities

• Mentor, guide and support educators to deliver high-quality care and education
• Oversee operations including rostering, budgeting and compliance
• Build strong, trusting partnerships with families and the community
• Lead by example, showing consistency, respect, intentionality, collaboration and speaking up

Required profile

• Diploma or Bachelor degree in Early Childhood Education (ACECQA recognised)
• At least 2 years' leadership experience in the sector
• Valid police check (or willingness to obtain one); WWCC and First Aid certificate (or willingness to obtain them)
• Candidates employed from 1 April must complete the federally mandated National Child Safety Training via Geccko, or obtain it before employment

Required skills

• Solid knowledge of EYLF and NQS
• Strong mentoring and communication skills
