Centre Director

About the role

The Centre Director will set the vision for the centre, mentor educators and build strong relationships with families and the community. This hands‑on leadership role combines operational oversight with inspirational guidance.

Key responsibilities

• Mentor, guide and support educators to deliver high‑quality early childhood education.
• Oversee centre operations including rostering, budgeting and compliance with EYLF and NQS.
• Develop and maintain trusting partnerships with families and the local community.

Required profile

• Diploma or Bachelor in Early Childhood Education (ACECQA recognised).
• Minimum 2 years of leadership experience in the early childhood sector.
• Strong communication and mentoring abilities.

Required skills

• Knowledge of the Early Years Learning Framework (EYLF).
• Understanding of the National Quality Standard (NQS).
