Category Assistant

About the role

Since 2024, 7-Eleven Australia has been part of the international 7-Eleven group, which operates in 20 countries with over 84,000 stores. As a Category Assistant in the Product tribe, you will join the team that creates, curates and delivers market-leading product experiences. You will be the first point of contact for the squad, working closely with suppliers, customers and internal stakeholders.

Key responsibilities

• Assist in executing strategies that turn sales and gross profit budgets into actionable plans
• Manage data and improve reporting processes so stakeholders can make informed decisions
• Own category financials and keep them aligned with business goals
• Partner with internal teams, stores and suppliers to support squad objectives and streamline processes

Required profile

• A strong numerical and data aptitude
• Excellent interpersonal skills for stakeholder management
• Problem-solving ability and a proactive attitude
• Previous experience in a retail, professional or supplier environment is a plus
• A tertiary qualification is desirable

Required skills

• Proficiency in MS Excel
• Familiarity with SAP is an advantage
