About the role
Costa Group is looking for a casual Warehouse Operator to join its Distribution Centre in Quoiba, TAS. The role helps prepare quality fresh produce for distribution to stores across Tasmania. It is a casual position with plenty of hours available, including possible weekend work, and only candidates who can start immediately should apply.
Key responsibilities
- Pick accurate orders to customer requirements
- Manage inventory
- Keep the warehouse and surrounding areas clean and safe for storing fresh produce
- Stack pallets so stock is not damaged during loading or transit
- Work safely, including in a refrigerated environment
- Operate electric pallet jacks
- Perform manual handling, including repetitive lifting of stock up to 20kg
Required profile
- Previous warehouse or similar experience is preferable
- Current right to work in Australia with an immediate start
- Team player with good communication skills
- Attention to detail in a fast-paced environment
Required skills
- Basic computer skills
- Electric pallet jack operation
