Casual Speech Pathologist (Grade 2) - Inpatient

About the role

Bayside Health, a public health service covering metropolitan Melbourne, the Mornington Peninsula, Koo Wee Rup, Bass Coast and Southern Gippsland, is recruiting a Casual Grade 2 Speech Pathologist for its inpatient Speech Pathology team. You will work across the Frankston, Rosebud and Mornington sites, supporting patients and their families through assessment, intervention and discharge planning. The role suits speech pathologists with inpatient experience who want to contribute to education and clinical supervision.

Key responsibilities

• Deliver evidence-based, person-centred care in acute and subacute inpatient services
• Work with multidisciplinary teams across Frankston, Rosebud and Mornington
• Provide assessment, intervention and discharge planning services
• Contribute to education and clinical supervision

Required profile

• Experience in evidence-based adult speech pathology assessment and management
• Proven involvement in quality and service improvement activities
• Experience in speech pathology clinical supervision (desirable)

Required skills

• Well-developed communication and interpersonal skills
• Strong time management skills
