Casual Senior Graphic Designer (3 days/week)

About the role

We are looking for a casual senior graphic designer to join the Heart Foundation’s creative team in Brisbane. Working three days a week, you will help create engaging visual content that supports our mission to improve heart health across Australia.

Key responsibilities

• Design and produce high‑quality visual assets for campaigns, email, web, health promotion materials, reports, brochures, signage and more.
• Develop creative concepts that align with the Heart Foundation’s brand and purpose.
• Ensure all design outputs meet accessibility and compliance standards.
• Collaborate with internal stakeholders, present concepts and provide photo‑editing and art‑direction advice.
• Champion innovation and best practice in design, including basic video editing and motion graphics.

Required profile

• Tertiary qualification in graphic design.
• Minimum five years of industry experience, preferably in a senior role.
• Strong portfolio demonstrating brand‑aligned design across print and digital.
• Ability to manage multiple deadlines in a fast‑paced environment with meticulous attention to detail.
• Australian working rights.

Required skills

• High proficiency with the Adobe Creative Suite.
• Experience with basic video editing and motion graphics.
• Knowledge of print production processes.
• Understanding of accessibility standards for design.
• Photo‑editing and art‑direction capabilities.
