Casual Registered Nurse - Central Adelaide

About the role

Nursing Australia is seeking experienced Registered Nurses to join its team on a casual basis in Central Adelaide, South Australia. The work is in a general medical and surgical setting across several hospitals in Adelaide, with a high demand for night duty nurses. It suits healthcare professionals who want flexibility while delivering high-quality patient care.

Key responsibilities

• Deliver direct patient care on general medical and surgical wards, including assessment, monitoring and intervention
• Administer medications and treatments according to clinical protocols and patient care plans
• Perform routine observations such as vital signs and report significant changes to the healthcare team
• Work with multidisciplinary teams to develop and implement individualised patient care plans

Required profile

• Current RN registration with the Nursing and Midwifery Board of Australia (NMBA)
• Demonstrated experience in general medical and surgical nursing
• Valid CPR certification and willingness to maintain it
• Current Working with Children Check (WWC) and National Police Check, or willingness to obtain one
• Flexibility to casual schedules and varying patient acuity
