Casual Registered Nurse - Aged Care

About the role

St Vincent's Care Services Yennora (locally known as Rosary Village), a 141-bed aged care facility about 29 km from Sydney's CBD, is looking for a casual registered nurse to join its experienced team. The role supports a welcoming, professional and supportive care experience for residents, within the organisation's Heartprint model of compassionate, person-centred care.

Required profile

• Nursing registration with the Australian Health Practitioner Regulation Agency is essential.
• Clinical nursing practice experience in an aged care facility is preferred; minimum 2 years' experience is essential.
• Flexibility and availability to work nights, AM, PM shifts on any day of the week.
• Ability to exhibit leadership and lead a team by example.
• Nationally coordinated criminal history check and NDIS worker screening check required.

Required skills

• High level of customer service skills, strong attention to detail and excellent communication skills.
• Ability to follow directives as per the care plan.
• Excellent record keeping, with experience using Autumn Care (or similar) desirable.
• Understanding of aged care and resident rights and responsibilities.
