Casual Registered and Endorsed Enrolled Nurse - Night Duty

About the role

St Vincent's Private Hospital Melbourne is seeking casual Registered Nurses and Endorsed Enrolled Nurses for night duty, working in its Allocations Resource Unit. The position supports nursing teams across four sites (Fitzroy, East Melbourne, Kew and Werribee) and offers flexible night shifts (9.30pm to 7.30am) across general surgical wards and a range of specialties suited to your qualifications.

Required profile

• Registered Nurse or Endorsed Enrolled Nurse with a minimum of 1 year of acute clinical experience after registration
• Current AHPRA registration and working rights within Australia
• Criminal record and/or child protection checks will be conducted and form part of the selection criteria
• Compliance with the staff health screening immunisation policy, including mandatory vaccinations such as the flu shot

• Sound clinical decision-making and problem-solving skills
• Ability to deliver individualised, patient-centred care according to best practice guidelines
• Excellent communication and customer service skills
• Team player willing to be flexible according to departmental needs
