Casual Merchandise Salesperson - Kempsey

About the role

Norco AgriSolutions, part of Norco (Australia's oldest and largest dairy co-operative), is looking for a junior team member to join its retail store in Kempsey on a casual basis. It is described as a great opportunity for a school student to gain retail and agricultural experience. Casual shifts are available on Saturday mornings, and shifts can be worked as available during school holidays.

Key responsibilities

• Serve customers, process sales and provide friendly service
• Answer the phone and assist with enquiries
• Stock shelves and keep the store and warehouse clean and tidy
• Load customer vehicles
• Assist with inventory and stocktakes

Required profile

• Friendly, reliable and eager to learn
• Great customer service, communication and teamwork skills
• Good technical skills
• Physically fit to help with lifting and moving stock
• A strong focus on safety
• An interest in agriculture or rural products is a bonus
