Casual Lifeguard – Crib Point, Victoria

About the role

Manpower is seeking experienced, safety-focused lifeguards for a busy aquatic and recreation facility in Crib Point, Victoria. This is an ongoing casual position with weekly pay, weekend penalty rates and a varied roster from Monday to Sunday. Candidates help keep patrons safe while maintaining high standards of cleanliness and customer service.

Key responsibilities

• Monitor and supervise pool users to ensure a safe aquatic environment
• Respond appropriately to incidents and emergencies
• Test pool water routinely and keep chemical levels within requirements
• Operate pool cleaning equipment, including pool vacuums
• Clean pool surrounds, sauna facilities and aquatic equipment during quieter periods
• Provide customer service and assist patrons with basic gym equipment setup when needed
• Follow all site safety policies, procedures and compliance requirements

Required profile

• Australian citizenship
• At least 2 weeks' experience as a lifeguard, pool attendant or in a similar aquatic environment
• Current Aquatic Pool Lifeguard Certificate, First Aid Certificate and CPR Certificate
• Valid Working with Children Check and a current police check (within 30 days), or willingness to obtain one (cost covered by Manpower)
• Reliable transport and ability to travel to Crib Point
• Availability for a rotating roster Monday to Sunday, including early mornings, afternoons and evenings, with early starts from 5:45 am
