Casual Enrolled Nurse - Inpatient Mental Health

About the role

Nolan House, part of Albury Wodonga Health, is looking for a casual Enrolled Nurse to join its inpatient mental health team. The position is based at the Nolan House Inpatient Unit, Albury Base Hospital, and offers the chance to expand skills in a supportive, trauma-informed and recovery-focused environment. The closing date is 19 November 2026.

Key responsibilities

• Conduct comprehensive mental health and physical assessments
• Monitor responses to psychotropic medications and other therapeutic interventions
• Engage therapeutically with consumers and give psychoeducation to consumers and their families
• Help maintain a safe, least restrictive and trauma-informed environment
• Deliver nursing care in line with best practice and organisational policies
• Maintain accurate documentation and uphold clinical governance standards

Required profile

• Current AHPRA registration as an Enrolled Nurse
• Previous experience in mental health nursing
• A Postgraduate Diploma is highly desirable but not essential
