Casual Early Childhood Educator

About the role

Casual positions are available at Educator Budawang Early Childhood Centre in Ulladulla, with coverage across the week on an on-call basis. The centre is looking for passionate and dedicated educators to help shape little minds and create a nurturing, fun learning environment.

Required profile

• A Certificate III or Diploma in early childhood education.
• Ability to engage children in activities that are responsive and tailored to their interests and abilities.
• Ability to develop appropriate and sustained relationships with children.
• Demonstrated awareness of the rights of the child and of mandatory reporting obligations.
• Ability to communicate effectively with parents, children, colleagues and other stakeholders.
• Ability to follow directions and undertake tasks at all levels.

Desirable experience

• First aid training as prescribed in the Education and Care Services National Law Act 2010.
• Asthma and Anaphylaxis Management training.
• Food Safety, Handling and Hygiene training.
• Demonstrated understanding of the Education and Care Services National Law, Regulations and Standards, and of the Early Years Learning Framework.
• Completed Mandatory Child Safety Training (GECCKO).
