Casual Domestic Assistant – Hobart, Tasmania

About the role

We are seeking reliable Domestic Assistants to provide in‑home support to our clients in Hobart. This casual position offers 15‑20 hours per week, with flexible shifts between 7 am and 7 pm, Monday to Friday and occasional weekends or public holidays.

Key responsibilities

• Perform basic home cleaning, tidying and domestic duties.
• Assist clients with shopping and attending appointments.
• Provide respite care and companionship.
• Prepare simple meals and support nutrition.
• Encourage social engagement and community participation.

Required profile

• Willingness to undertake domestic duties.
• Strong communication and relationship‑building skills.
• Clear National Police Check and Working with Vulnerable People Check.
• Current First Aid and CPR certification, or willingness to obtain.
• Full comprehensive car insurance and a valid driver’s licence (or willingness to obtain).
• Smartphone for scheduling and communication.
• Legal right to live and work in Australia.
