Casual Customer Service and Sales Assistant

About the role

We are seeking an enthusiastic casual Customer Service and Sales Assistant to join our Beacon Lighting store in Camperdown, NSW. In this role you will help customers discover the right lighting solutions while delivering a friendly, knowledgeable in‑store experience.

Key responsibilities

• Assist shoppers and trade clients in selecting lighting products that meet their needs.
• Provide expert advice and maintain high standards of customer service.
• Develop relationships with customers through our loyalty programmes.
• Increase sales by promoting products and upselling where appropriate.
• Maintain a clean, well‑presented store environment and support a collaborative team culture.

Required profile

• Previous experience in a customer‑facing retail or service role.
• Strong verbal communication and the ability to connect with customers.
• Energetic, enthusiastic attitude and keen attention to detail.

Required skills

• Excellent interpersonal and communication abilities.
• Basic product knowledge acquisition and willingness to learn.
