Casual Certificate III Early Childhood Educator

About the role

We are looking for passionate Certificate III qualified educators to join our Early Learning Centres across Belconnen, Gungahlin, Holt, Holder, Jamison, Strathnairn and Kambah on a casual basis. You will work in Reggio Emilia‑inspired environments, creating play‑based experiences that nurture curiosity, creativity and a strong sense of belonging.

Key responsibilities

• Design and deliver engaging, play‑based learning activities for children.
• Build trusting partnerships with families and the wider community.
• Maintain a safe, nurturing environment that supports each child’s unique learning journey.
• Collaborate with fellow educators to uphold the centre’s values and educational philosophy.

Required profile

• Certificate III in Early Childhood Education and Care (or ACECQA‑approved equivalent).
• Availability between 7:00 am–6:00 pm, Monday to Friday.
• Solid experience in the early childhood sector.
• Strong communication skills and knowledge of EYLF & NQF.
• Current ACT Working with Vulnerable People (WWVP) registration (mandatory).
• Willingness to obtain Food Safety, First Aid/CPR, Asthma & Anaphylaxis, Child Safety, and ACT Government child‑safety training certifications if not already held.
