About the role

The School of Humanities and Languages at UNSW is building a casual academic talent pool for 2026. Qualified individuals can register interest to teach across a wide range of humanities and language disciplines, either on‑campus, online, or in hybrid formats.

Key responsibilities

• Deliver tutorials, lectures, seminars and workshops for undergraduate and postgraduate courses.
• Provide marking, assessment feedback and support for hybrid teaching delivery.
• Contribute to course design and curriculum development as needed.
• Engage with students in both face‑to‑face and virtual learning environments.

Required profile

• Relevant academic qualifications in one of the listed disciplines.
• Eligibility to work in Australia and an Australian bank account.
• Commitment to equity, diversity and inclusion principles.
• Ability to teach both on‑campus and online formats.
