Carpenter - Regional South Australia

About the role

McMahon Services is looking for experienced Carpenters to join its Building & Construction team, which covers commercial construction, maintenance and refurbishment projects across Regional South Australia. Projects range from schools and community facilities to government, industrial and commercial sites, and regional travel is required from time to time, with LAFHA and applicable allowances provided where needed.

Key responsibilities

• Complete commercial carpentry works on construction and maintenance projects
• Carry out building repairs, refurbishments and planned maintenance
• Read and interpret construction drawings, plans and specifications
• Install, construct and repair building structures and components
• Work with Site Managers, Supervisors and other trades
• Maintain high standards of workmanship, safety and quality, and build relationships with clients and site stakeholders

Required profile

• Trade qualification in Carpentry
• Current driver's licence and Construction White Card
• Experience in commercial construction and/or building maintenance
• Willingness to travel throughout Regional South Australia
• Ability to pass a pre-employment medical, including drug and alcohol testing
