Care Service Employee - Vietnam Veterans KPVC Hostel

About the role

Alino Living, the largest independent not-for-profit aged care provider on the Central Coast, is looking for compassionate, dedicated and reliable aged care workers to join its team at the Vietnam Veterans KPVC Hostel. The Care Service Employee position is offered on a PPT or casual basis, with a variety of shifts available.

Key responsibilities

• Provide personal care to residents, including assistance with bathing, grooming, dressing and toileting
• Assist residents with mobility and transfers
• Monitor and report changes in residents' health and wellbeing
• Provide emotional support and companionship to residents
• Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of care provided
• Assist with meal preparation and serving
• Adhere to all policies and procedures of Alino Living
• Take part in training and development opportunities as required

Required profile

• Certificate III in Aged Care or equivalent
• A current First Aid Certificate
• A current National Police Check, or willingness to obtain one
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Strong attention to detail and time management skills
• A compassionate and caring nature
