Cardiac Technician Grade 2 or 3 - Cardiac Catheter Lab

About the role

Cabrini Health in Malvern is hiring a Cardiac Technician Grade 2 or 3 for its Cardiac Catheter Lab. This is a permanent, part-time position (0.6 FTE). The trained technicians and cardiac physiologists provide high-quality physiological monitoring and ECG interpretation during cardiac procedures and/or pacemaker testing, working independently and interdependently in line with legislation and protocols.

Key responsibilities

• Provide physiological monitoring and ECG interpretation during cardiac procedures and/or pacemaker testing
• Support Interventional, EP and Structural procedures in a high-performing team
• Drive innovation and best practice in a well-established program
• Build strong working relationships with cardiologists

Required profile

• Cardiac Technicians Certificate/diploma or relevant tertiary degree
• 12-18 months of experience in interventional and structural heart procedures preferred; EP skills desired or willingness to upskill to EP procedures
• Commitment to clinical excellence, quality patient care and team development
• Flexibility, attention to detail and excellent customer service and communication skills

Required skills

• Strong clinical ECG interpretation in a cardiac cath lab setting
• Interventional and structural heart procedure experience
