Card Analytics Lead – Melbourne/Brisbane

About the role

The Card Analytics Lead will shape and drive ANZ's card fraud analytics strategy across both card‑present and card‑not‑present channels. Reporting to the Customer Protection Strategy & Performance team, you will balance fraud risk, customer experience and authorisation outcomes while leading a high‑performing analytics team.

Key responsibilities

• Analyse fraud trends, identify emerging threats and translate insights into actionable strategies.
• Own end‑to‑end fraud performance, setting priorities and aligning stakeholders across Fraud Operations, Product, Technology, Risk and external partners.
• Monitor portfolio performance, measure effectiveness of fraud controls and recommend improvements.
• Support the design and implementation of new fraud detection controls and continuous‑improvement initiatives.
• Represent ANZ in industry and scheme discussions related to card fraud.

Required profile

• Highly analytical, commercially minded fraud professional with deep knowledge of card fraud typologies.
• Proven experience in card fraud analytics and using data to drive fraud outcomes.
• Strong stakeholder management skills and ability to work in a fast‑paced, evolving threat environment.
