Cafe Barista – Aged Care Home

About the role

Infinite Aged Care is looking for a part-time Barista / Café Allrounder for its Ashmore Aged Care Home on the Gold Coast. The café serves coffee and snacks for residents, families and visitors, and the role is described as physically active, involving daily bending, squatting, lifting and pushing.

Key responsibilities

• Deliver a friendly, professional café experience for residents and visitors.
• Prepare and serve hot and cold beverages and café snacks; barista skills and certification are desirable.
• Maintain a clean, safe and welcoming café environment.
• Follow café procedures to ensure smooth, high-quality operations.
• Support stock management with the Chef Manager.
• Assist with dining room service when needed.

Required profile

• Aged care experience is not required; a passion for customer service and a positive attitude matter most.
• Demonstrated barista experience and a love of coffee.
• Friendly, customer-focused attitude with strong communication skills.
• Awareness of workplace safety and hazards.
• Ability to work independently or with the hospitality team.
• Flexibility and reliability to cover shifts.
• Current NDIS clearance and/or willingness to apply.
