About the role

Marsh is seeking a Buying Groups Insurance Broker to join its Buying Groups team in Australia. The role can be based in Melbourne, Sydney or Brisbane and operates on a hybrid model with at least three days per week in the office.

Key responsibilities

  • Take ownership of industry insurance schemes, providing strategic and operational management.
  • Deliver excellent service to scheme members and corporate sponsors.
  • Initiate and progress new and renewal policy binding, invoicing and distribution of documentation.
  • Process quotations and placing slips, and prepare materials for pre‑renewal and broking meetings.

Required profile

  • Tier 1 Insurance Broking Compliance qualification.
  • Experience in an SME or scheme environment.
  • Client service, underwriting, claims or insurance broking experience.
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills.

Required skills

  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office suite.
  • Experience using broker IT platforms.
