Business Unit Manager – Finance (Office of the CFO)

About the role

This newly created senior position partners with the CFO to drive execution of Finance priorities and ensure effective, efficient operation aligned with enterprise objectives. As a member of the Finance Leadership team, you will coordinate strategic, regulatory and operational activities across the business unit.

Key responsibilities

• Own the Finance business management framework, including strategic planning, performance management, governance and operational effectiveness.
• Translate Finance strategy into executable plans, monitor progress, and align with organisational priorities.
• Lead financial and workforce planning activities, including budgeting, forecasting and resource planning.
• Manage the annual planning cycle, business performance reviews, people cycle activities and governance calendar.
• Foster strong risk and control governance and drive continuous improvement initiatives.

Required profile

• Qualifications in Finance, Commerce or a related area.
• Several years of experience as a Business Manager or COS‑type role, preferably in Financial Services.

Required skills

• High proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel and PowerPoint.
• Data‑savvy with experience in financial management, forecasting and budgeting.
