Business Intelligence Specialist

About the role

Reporting to the Manager, BI and Finance, you will play a key role in supporting the organisation's growing reporting and analytics needs. You will help increase team capacity while delivering scalable, high‑quality reporting solutions across multiple concurrent projects.

Key responsibilities

• Support the migration of reporting and data assets from SQL Server to Databricks.
• Design and implement robust data models that align with BI best practices.
• Develop, maintain and enhance Power BI dashboards and reports.
• Refactor existing reports to improve usability, performance and governance.
• Write and optimise SQL queries to extract, transform and validate data.
• Build DAX measures and semantic models that support business decision‑making.
• Work closely with stakeholders to understand reporting requirements and deliver actionable insights.
• Support continuous improvement initiatives across reporting, analytics and data management functions.

Required profile

• Demonstrated experience working with Databricks in a reporting or analytics environment.
• Strong Power BI development experience, including dashboards, data models and DAX.
• Solid SQL skills with experience in SQL Server environments.
• Experience designing and optimising data models for reporting and analytics.
• Excellent stakeholder engagement and communication skills.
• Ability to manage competing priorities across multiple projects and deadlines.
