Business Intelligence Developer - Single Digital Patient Record

About the role

Single Digital Patient Record (SDPR), part of NSW Health, is recruiting a Business Intelligence Developer (Health Manager Level 3) for its Single Digital Patient Record Implementation Authority team. This is a temporary full-time opportunity of up to 2 years, based in the Chatswood offices, supporting the design, development and support of analytics tools and reporting solutions used by Local Health Districts and the NSW Ministry of Health.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and maintain dashboards, reports, extracts and analytics tools
• Analyse user requirements and provide tailored technical solutions
• Lead support and incident management across SDPR platforms
• Implement performance testing and manage change processes for reporting and analytics solutions
• Work with stakeholders to deliver plain-language tools that improve understanding of health data

Required profile

• Relevant qualification in Computer Science or a related field
• Experience in a large, complex service environment
• Ability to work independently and collaboratively, with resilience under pressure
• Current Australian work rights; relocation from outside NSW may be required

Required skills

• Advanced SQL and large, complex databases
• Analytics tools, SSIS, data warehousing and ETL
• Custom SQL queries for reporting and dashboards
• Version control, change management and requirement gathering
• Technical consultation on upgrades, installations and performance testing

What we offer

• Salary from $137,525 up to $156,231 plus 12% super and 17.5% annual leave loading
