Business Intelligence Analyst

About the role

Adbri’s Corporate IT team is expanding its enterprise data and reporting capability, offering a Business Intelligence Analyst role that provides breadth across modern technologies and the chance to grow engineering skills within a large enterprise. You will work on new reports, integrations and business challenges across various parts of the organisation, delivering scalable, reliable, business‑aligned insights.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and enhance Power BI dashboards and reports.
• Support users with reporting queries, investigations and data issues.
• Maintain and enhance Databricks pipelines and integrations.
• Work with large, complex datasets from multiple business systems.
• Assist with onboarding and integration of new data sources from acquired businesses.
• Gather reporting requirements directly from internal stakeholders.
• Support daily data flows from operational systems, SaaS platforms, APIs and sensors.
• Contribute to ongoing improvements across Adbri’s modern data environment.

Required profile

• Strong technical foundation with curiosity and the ability to break down complex datasets and business problems.
• Proven experience developing, optimising and maintaining SQL queries, views and stored procedures.
• Experience designing Power BI dashboards and reports using Python.
• Experience building, maintaining or enhancing data pipelines using Databricks.
• Experience interfacing with REST APIs to extract and push data between systems.
• Strong analytical and troubleshooting skills working with large, complex datasets.
• Ability to communicate effectively with non‑technical stakeholders.
