Business Development Specialist

About the role

Coregas is looking for a results‑driven Business Development Specialist to lead growth in its industrial gases territory from our Newcastle hub. You will be responsible for generating new cylinder and bulk gas sales, managing key accounts and expanding the customer base across manufacturing, mining and welding sectors.

Key responsibilities

• Identify, develop and secure new business opportunities within the assigned industrial territory.
• Increase cylinder and bulk gas sales to both new and existing customers.
• Prepare detailed costings, commercial proposals, tenders, quotations and contract documents.
• Monitor market trends, competitor activity and industry developments.
• Manage sales accounts to meet budget targets, optimise profitability and implement price adjustments.
• Retain and grow key accounts through proactive relationship management.
• Support internal and external audits as required.
• Build and maintain strong relationships with customers, depots and distributors.

Required profile

• Proven B2B sales or business development experience, preferably in industrial or technical environments.
• Demonstrated success selling to manufacturing, mining, welding, fabrication or related industrial sectors.
• Strong understanding of sales processes, account management and profit drivers.
• Ability to work autonomously and manage a sales territory effectively.
