Business Development Officer – Multi‑Industry

About the role

We are looking for a motivated Business Development Officer to join our fast‑moving Sydney CBD team. You will work across a variety of industries, generating leads, building relationships and supporting the sales process from first contact to closing.

Key responsibilities

• Identify and develop new business opportunities across multiple sectors.
• Build and maintain strong relationships with prospective and existing clients.
• Manage outbound outreach, follow‑ups and pipeline activity.
• Support the sales process from initial contact through to closing opportunities.
• Maintain accurate CRM records and keep the pipeline up‑to‑date.
• Deliver professional communication and strong customer experiences.
• Collaborate with the wider team to achieve sales and growth targets.
• Continuously develop sales, communication and business development skills through training.

Required profile

• Previous experience in sales, business development, customer service or lead generation preferred.
• Strong communication and relationship‑building abilities.
• Confident, proactive and self‑motivated attitude.
• Ability to thrive in a fast‑paced, target‑driven environment.
• Excellent attention to detail and organisational skills.
• Team player who can also work independently.
