Business Development Manager – NSW

About the role

Air Liquide Australia is seeking a high‑performing Business Development Manager to expand market presence across NSW and ACT, delivering tailored technical and commercial solutions for industrial and energy customers.

Key responsibilities

• Analyse competitor dynamics, industry trends and market gaps to shape growth objectives.
• Develop pipelines and expand networks with commercial enterprises, industry bodies and regulators.
• Partner with client decision‑makers to create technical and commercial proposals and guide deals from concept to agreement.
• Lead negotiations for long‑term supply contracts and provide commercial oversight during delivery.
• Manage key client relationships, resolve commercial challenges and collaborate with Account Managers to maximise customer value.

Required profile

• 3–5+ years of proven success in technical sales, business development or key account management within industrial, energy or engineering services.
• Strong commercial negotiation and financial proposal structuring abilities.
• Solution‑focused, consultative mindset with ability to translate engineering requirements into business cases.
• Highly self‑motivated, proactive in hunting new business and achieving quarterly targets.
