Business Development Manager - Modular Cabins & Homes

About the role

An established and growing high-end cabins and homes business based in Gympie, Queensland, is looking for a full-time Business Development Manager. The company has specialised in modular construction for residential and commercial customers for over 30 years, building cabins and homes in its own manufacturing facility and serving clients nationwide. The role drives sales and builds long-term client relationships.

Key responsibilities

• Identify and develop new business opportunities within the modular construction market
• Build and manage strong, long-term relationships with key clients and industry stakeholders
• Lead commercial discussions, proposals and contract negotiations
• Collaborate with internal teams so that solutions are achievable and well delivered
• Manage the sales pipeline, forecasting and performance reporting
• Travel to meet clients, mostly day trips with occasional overnight stays

Required profile

• Proven commercial sales experience, preferably in construction or a related industry
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills, able to engage confidently with clients and senior stakeholders
• Results-driven, motivated and able to work autonomously while collaborating in a team
• Passion for customer service and building long-term relationships
• Strong organisational skills, attention to detail and ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment

What we offer

• Salary of $130-150k per year plus superannuation
• $15k vehicle allowance and bonuses
• OTE of $75-100k
