Business Development Manager

About the role

APM is looking for a Business Development Manager to build and maintain employer relationships in its Workforce Australia program, with the aim of placing participants into sustainable employment in the Innisfail region. The role can be based in Innisfail or the Tablelands area, and travel will be required.

Key responsibilities

• Build and maintain employer and community networks
• Market job seekers to prospective employers
• Work alongside Employment Consultants to place participants into suitable employment
• Negotiate with employers to ensure successful job placements
• Comply with compliance and database input requirements

Required profile

• Eligibility to work in Australia
• Current driver's licence and a fully insured vehicle
• A MyGovID (standard level)
• Willingness to complete a National Police Check and pass a Working with Children Check
• Availability to work full-time, Monday to Friday, 8:30am to 5:00pm
• Experience in sales, business development, account management or outbound calling is highly regarded; experience in the Employment Services sector is not essential
