Business Development Executive – Tablelands Region

About the role

As a Business Development Executive you will ensure our products are visible, available and delivering great experiences for customers across the Tablelands region. This fast‑paced field sales position involves daily travel to Atherton, Mareeba and surrounding areas, with occasional overnight travel.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and execute strategies to meet sales targets in the assigned territory.
• Identify and pursue new business opportunities and strengthen existing partnerships.
• Build and maintain strong, lasting relationships with customers.
• Monitor competitor activity and market trends to provide actionable insights.
• Collaborate with Marketing to guarantee product availability and successful promotions.
• Deliver regular reports on sales performance, opportunities and market intelligence.

Required profile

• Results‑driven with a strong focus on sales and service execution.
• Valid Australian driver’s licence and willingness to travel throughout the territory.
• Excellent communicator able to build effective relationships.
• Organised, strategic and confident in planning and prioritising work.
• Problem‑solver who turns challenges into opportunities.
• Resilient, energetic and able to thrive through change.
• Experience in FMCG, retail or convenience sectors is an advantage (not essential).
