About the role
We are looking for an agile, self‑motivated Business Development Executive to drive Wonde’s growth across the APAC education market. This hunter‑style role will own the full sales cycle, from market mapping to closing deals, while representing our brand at industry events.
Key responsibilities
- Identify and map untapped opportunities in the APAC ed‑tech landscape and turn them into actionable sales strategies.
- Build and manage a high‑volume pipeline through outbound calls, cold/warm outreach and lead generation without pre‑provided lists.
- Own the end‑to‑end sales process, removing friction points to shorten deal cycles.
- Deliver value‑based consultative pitches, handling complex objections and demonstrating clear ROI.
- Represent Wonde at trade shows and events, converting high‑potential leads into qualified opportunities.
- Partner with technical, product and onboarding teams to streamline internal workflows and ensure rapid client onboarding.
- Maintain accurate CRM data and report on pipeline health, market trends and performance against targets.
Required profile
- Proven hunter‑style business development experience (3‑5+ years) in SaaS or EdTech with a track record of shortening sales cycles.
- Strong commercial acumen and ability to spot, evaluate and capitalise on new growth channels.
- Highly adaptable, energetic and self‑motivated, thriving in fast‑paced environments.
- Excellent internal collaboration skills to build partnerships across technical and operations teams.
- Rapid learner with the ability to absorb complex software architectures quickly.
Required skills
- Experience with CRM platforms, preferably Salesforce.
- Familiarity with standard sales engagement tools.
