Business Analyst - Wealth Management

About the role

LGT Wealth Management is expanding its Delivery function and is looking for experienced Business Analysts to support strategic change and mandatory initiatives across the business. You will turn business needs into clear, sprint-ready requirements, shape solutions through definition and design, and help deliver high-quality releases across the platforms. Positions are offered as 12-month fixed-term contracts.

Key responsibilities

• Partner with stakeholders to clarify requirements, prioritise initiatives and resolve issues across multiple streams.
• Gather and document business requirements, turning them into clear, sprint-ready user stories with acceptance criteria.
• Create user stories and walk them through with business and technology teams.
• Support Senior Business Analysts and Business Owners in breaking down epics into stories and capturing acceptance criteria.
• Support Project Managers in planning and implementing business and technical components of initiatives.
• Support developers and testers through the sprint cycle, ensuring traceability from requirements to test cases.
• Prepare stakeholder communications, deliver demos and training, and help with business procedure documentation.
• Identify process improvements and contribute to business cases or lean canvases for future initiatives.

Required profile

• 3+ years as a Business Analyst, or 5+ years in Wealth Management with BA responsibilities.
• Strong exposure to Wealth Advisory/Private Banking platforms; knowledge of wealth management products is highly desirable.
• Resilient, methodical and able to manage multiple priorities.
• Degree qualified.

Required skills

• Process mapping, user story development and Agile frameworks.
• JIRA and advanced Excel.
• Avaloq experience highly desirable; SDLC and change methodology knowledge a plus.
