Business Analyst – Climate Program

About the role

As a Business Analyst in the Enterprise Climate Program, you will support ANZ’s mandatory climate disclosure obligations. Reporting to the CROP initiative workstream, you will bridge business needs and technical solutions to drive meaningful climate and ESG outcomes.

Key responsibilities

• Engage with stakeholders across ANZ Group, including New Zealand, to elicit and validate climate‑related business and data requirements.
• Collaborate with subject‑matter experts to define problems, success criteria, and translate requests into actionable delivery requirements.
• Convert business needs into clear functional and non‑functional technical specifications and contribute to solution design.
• Lead process mapping, create procedure documentation, and support internal review and control activities.
• Assist with system setup, staff training, prototype testing and gather feedback for change management.
• Build strong relationships with internal and external partners while adapting to shifting priorities in a fast‑paced environment.

Required profile

• Proven experience in business analysis, project management, planning and problem‑solving across diverse projects.
• Ability to define and govern requirements‑gathering approaches and translate customer needs into business solutions.
• Strong stakeholder‑engagement skills and comfort working in complex, ambiguous settings.
