About the role
This identified position is open only to Aboriginal and/or Torres Strait Islander persons. The 12‑month full‑time traineeship combines on‑the‑job administration experience across multiple Western Sydney University campuses with a Certificate III in Business (Administration).
Key responsibilities
- Provide administrative support to supervisors and business units, including record keeping, filing and document preparation.
- Use computerised information systems and related technologies to manage data and communications.
- Prioritise and complete ad‑hoc tasks, meet deadlines and collaborate with colleagues.
- Assist with event coordination, stakeholder engagement and reporting across various campus divisions.
Required profile
- Identify as Aboriginal and/or Torres Strait Islander.
- Completed at least Year 9 level of schooling.
- Interest in general business administration duties.
- Commitment to enrol and complete a Certificate III in Business (Administration) over 12 months.
- No prior formal qualification in the field.
