About the role

Metro Tasmania is hiring a Bus Operator in Hobart. You will transport passengers to work, school, appointments and community activities, helping keep Tasmania moving safely, reliably and with care. No previous bus driving experience is needed: if you can safely drive a car, the employer teaches you the rest through a six-week paid training program that builds confidence gradually, with hands-on support and experienced mentors. Graduates receive a Heavy Rigid (Metro-specific) licence and ongoing guidance.
