Building Services Lead – WA

About the role

KBR is seeking an experienced Building Services Lead to head its WA Building Services team in Perth. This senior technical professional will provide both engineering and people leadership across complex building, transport, defence and infrastructure projects.

Key responsibilities

• Lead, mentor and develop a multidisciplinary team of engineers, designers and drafters.
• Plan, coordinate and manage engineering work packages to meet scope, budget and schedule requirements.
• Prepare, review and verify designs, calculations, reports and technical specifications.
• Manage project and proposal budgets and coordinate key stakeholders including clients, regulators and sub‑consultants.
• Support business development activities and promote continuous improvement.

Required profile

• Proven experience leading engineering teams in a consulting or project delivery environment.
• Strong project management and delivery experience on major multidisciplinary projects.
• Chartered Engineer status (CPEng, RPEQ) or willingness to obtain within six months.
• Excellent communication, stakeholder management and mentoring abilities.

Required skills

• Mechanical or related engineering discipline.
• Building services engineering design and analysis.
• Engineering calculations, modelling and technical analysis.
• Project budgeting and cost control.
