Branch Manager – Agricultural Retail

About the role

Elders is looking for a Branch Manager in Griffith, regional New South Wales, to manage all aspects of branch operations and lead a team toward growth and earnings targets. Reporting to the Area Manager, the manager builds relationships with local producers and drives sales of agricultural products and merchandise, while mentoring and supporting the team to deliver professional service in store and in the field.

Key responsibilities

• Inspire and motivate the team to maximise their potential
• Build and maintain strong client relationships and give personalised recommendations
• Cultivate new sales opportunities and strengthen Elders' presence
• Drive the marketing and promotion of all Elders products
• Prioritise the safety of staff and clients and contribute to the zero-harm culture
• Coach and mentor staff in identifying and developing new sales opportunities

Required profile

• Proven track record in sales management with an understanding of agricultural services
• Strong knowledge of livestock and agency operations
• Comfortable in a collaborative and agile working environment
• Resourceful, forward-thinking and passionate about making a difference for clients and the community
• Ability to provide a high level of customer service and build client relationships
• A tertiary qualification is not essential
