About the role

The Boutique Director will lead Audemars Piguet’s first official boutique in Australia, shaping the brand’s market presence and driving sustainable growth. This senior role combines strategic business management with a focus on delivering an exceptional, highly personalized customer experience for high‑net‑worth clients.

Key responsibilities

• Drive overall boutique performance, increasing traffic, market share and profitability.
• Ensure a consistent, exceptional customer experience across the full client journey in line with brand standards.
• Act as brand ambassador, positioning Audemars Piguet as a reference for top‑tier clients in the Australian market.
• Implement retail strategies, guidelines and processes to achieve operational excellence.
• Build and develop a high‑value client base, focusing on high‑net‑worth and top‑tier customers.
• Define and execute client acquisition, segmentation and long‑term development strategies.
• Drive client engagement through targeted activations, partnerships and personal networks within the luxury ecosystem.
• Monitor and manage the client database (CRM) to support client development.
• Track boutique performance using KPIs, sales pipeline and conversion metrics.
• Analyse local market trends and competitor activity to inform business decisions.
• Lead, coach and develop the boutique team, fostering a high‑performance culture.
• Maintain a strong on‑floor presence, ensuring excellence in service, storytelling and client journey.
• Oversee boutique operations to ensure seamless execution and compliance with internal policies and corporate governance.

Required profile

• Minimum 10 years of experience in luxury retail or hospitality, including significant leadership responsibilities.
• Proven leadership experience in managing boutique or store operations.
