Bookkeeper & Payroll Officer

About the role

Succeed Consultancy is seeking a reliable, detail‑oriented Bookkeeper & Payroll Officer to join its finance team in Sydney. Working closely with the Accounts Manager, you will handle day‑to‑day bookkeeping tasks while taking ownership of weekly and fortnightly payroll processing.

Key responsibilities

• Process weekly and fortnightly payroll runs, including payroll tax, superannuation and WorkCover compliance.
• Manage accounts payable and receivable, ensuring timely payments and accurate invoicing.
• Perform daily and monthly bank reconciliations and maintain journal entries.
• Assist with month‑end reporting, reconciliations and general finance administration.
• Collaborate with finance and consultancy teams to support smooth operational workflows.

Required profile

• Previous bookkeeping experience with exposure to end‑to‑end payroll.
• Strong attention to detail and high level of accuracy.
• Excellent organisational and time‑management abilities.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a collaborative team.

Required skills

• MYOB or Xero accounting software.
• Microsoft Excel.
