About the role
Racing SA Ltd is seeking three qualified individuals to join its Board of Directors. The appointed directors will serve a three‑year term (the casual vacancy has one year remaining) and will be remunerated for their contribution to the governance of South Australia’s premier thoroughbred racing authority.
Key responsibilities
- Provide strategic governance and leadership for Racing SA.
- Participate in board meetings and decision‑making processes.
- Help shape policies that support the thoroughbred racing industry.
Required profile
- Sound knowledge of contemporary governance practices.
- Interest in or understanding of the thoroughbred racing sector.
- Professional experience in one or more of the following areas: legal matters, accounting/finance/business management, wagering or betting operations.
- Significant expertise in the candidate’s chosen field.
